Trips to the Middle East temporarily suspended
G.H.T.I., Mario Alsina

Our position regarding travel to the Middle East in times of conflict in Israel.

We trust that God is with his people Israel. Israel will win. Isaiah 54:15-17

Introduction:

In these times of uncertainty and conflict in the Middle East region, we want to share with our customers and followers our position regarding travel to this area of the world. At , GHTI we have always prioritized the safety and well-being of our travelers above all else, and that is why we have made an important decision in this context. Until the war in Israel is resolved and the situation in the region stabilizes, we have decided not to offer trips to the Middle East. Below, we will explain our reasons behind this decision.

Reasons for suspension of trips to biblical lands:

  1. Security of our travelers: The situation in Israel and other countries in the region is highly volatile and can change quickly. The safety of our customers is our primary concern, and we believe that at this time we cannot guarantee a safe and peaceful environment for those traveling to the Middle East.
  2. Fluctuation in restrictions and measures: Travel restrictions, government policies and security measures in the Middle East are subject to constant change due to the ongoing conflict. This can create confusion and risks for our travelers, and we prefer to avoid these uncertain situations..
  3. Impact on travel experience: We believe in offering enriching and meaningful travel experiences to our customers. Conflict in the region can negatively affect the quality of the travel experience by limiting access to places of interest, affecting mobility and creating unnecessary tensions.
  4. Solidarity and responsibility: As a global ministry, we also recognize our responsibility to act with sensitivity and empathy towards global events. The war in Israel has caused human suffering and conflict that affects many people. We believe that it is important to show solidarity and respect for those who are experiencing this difficult situation.

Our commitment to safety:

We want to emphasize that this decision is made for the safety and peace of mind of our customers. We will continue to monitor the situation closely and assess when it will be safe to resume our travel to the Middle East. We will keep our travelers informed of any changes to our travel policy and are committed to offering attractive alternatives to explore other regions of the world while we await a peaceful resolution in the Middle East.

We appreciate your understanding and support during these challenging times. Our top priority is your safety and travel experience, and we look forward to the day when we can offer safe and enriching trips to Bible lands once again.

Sincerely,

The educational travel department of Global Harvest Theological Institute.
