We cannot fail to mention our agreement with Bible Training Center for Pastors to offer their BTCP and BTCL programs. This adds significant value to our academic offering and provides our students with access to a world-class theological education.
Our BTCP students can be admitted to the following institutions under the following conditions:
Southwestern Baptist Theological Seminary: This being the most convenient option
Our students will be able to pursue a Master's degree at Southwestern Baptist Theological Seminary if they meet the following requirements:
- Be at least 30 years old;
- Have served in a church ministry for 3 years or more;
- They have taken approximately 2 years of Bible studies completing our 10-class BTCP program
Louisiana Baptist University accepts up to 30 credits of courses offered by The Bible Training Center for Pastors and Church Leaders
These credits can be applied in the following programs:
- Associate of Arts (64 credit hours –AA),
- Diploma in Theology (98 credit hours – DipTh) and
- Licenciatura En Estudios Bíblicos (128 horas crédito – BA).
Students who wish to continue their theological education through LBU will only need to submit a copy of their BTCP Diploma and a letter of recommendation from the director of the institute where they attended classes or their pastor. (Louisiana Baptist University also offers a wide selection of courses in Spanish.)
Dallas Theological Seminary: In particular, we highlight the "Advanced Standing" program at Dallas Theological Seminary, which our students can access to obtain degrees and postgraduate degrees.
